Junyu of the White Wind
Samurai / White Mage
A wind blows hither - A wind that started its journey from a distant land to the far eastern reaches. This wind is carried by a young warrior-sage, a warrior-sage that bears with them the stories of a land, far to the west. To her, this land is such a distant place, told in the ancient texts to bear grand wellsprings of Haneullim - known to the westerners as the Lifestream. The warrior-sage is on a spiritual journey, with the goal to come to these springs and work to know the foreign, strange spirits that must reside within these lands. With these great wellsprings of Haneullim, surely the spirits are strong within the western lands, no? With such an excess of Haneullim, these foreign spirits must move strongly through the air, as they flow freely back within the warrior-sage’s home...
The white-scaled Au’Ra - her far-away people calling themselves as the descendants of the 'Sky Mother' - carries a small wellspring of blessed current, meant to be given as an offering to the spirits of this land, and to unite the currents of east and west. It was meant to be a small offering, and one easily reciprocated by the spirits. Yet, this current of white wind finds itself increasingly without peer. Instead of the Haneullim’s fabled presence - and thus, the spiritual winds - growing stronger, it felt weaker the further she moved towards the western lands.
What could be the cause of such an unnatural disturbance? The ancient texts could not be incorrect. Still, with the White Wind brought from her home guiding her, the warrior-sage will come to understand this new place.
