Your HP is how much staying power you have. Your MP is how much magical power you have. When you reach 0 HP, you are knocked unconscious. If you have 0 MP, you roll with disadvantage on all attack rolls, and saving throws. Your starting HP and MP range is rolled from a floor number to a ceiling number based on the 'Role' you choose in your creation interface.
You then gain a set amount of extra HP when you buy your primary Job, which is added on to the total determined by your role, as seen below.
You may then buy HP perks from T1-T6 - at the normal rates and restrictions, from the Perk Tree interface.
The HP from these perks are accumulative, not static.
MP:
You then gain a set amount of extra MP when you buy your primary Job, which is added on to the total determined by your role, as seen below.
SP:
You gain a set amount of extra Sp when you buy your primary Job, which is added on to the total determined by your role, as seen below.
Melee Tank
HP Range: 70-130 | MP Range: 30-60 | SP Range: 50-100
Role Perk:
A Melee Tank gains +1 to AC, and reduces the damage of all physical attacks by 4 extra points regardless of damage reduction or piercing.
+4 Global damage reduction.
Tank Caster
HP Range: 60-120 | MP Range: 70-100 | SP Range: 30-50
Role Perk:
A Tank Caster gains +1 to AC, and reduces the damage of all magical attacks by 4 extra points regardless of damage reduction or piercing.
+4 Global damage reduction.
Physical DPS
HP Range: 50-90 | MP Range: 40-80 | SP Range: 60-120
Role Perk:
A Physical DPS character gains +1 to hit on Physical attack rolls, and deals +8 flat damage on all Physical based attacks.
(Physical means: Non-Magical.)
Magical DPS
HP Range: 40-90 | MP Range: 70-120 | RP Range: 40-60
Role Perk:
A Magical DPS character gains +1 to hit on Magical attack rolls, and deals +8 flat damage on all Magic based attacks.
Magical Support
HP Range: 30-60 | MP Range: 80-130 | SP Range: 40-60
Role Perk:
A Magical Support's Healing Abilities gain an additional +10 to all heals, on top of what is rolled, and they gain +1 to all Magical attack rolls.
Physical Support
HP Range: 40-70 | MP Range: 50-70 | SP Range: 70-120
Role Perk:
A Physical Support's Healing Abilities gain an additional +5 to all heals, on top of what is rolled, and they gain +1 to all Melee attack rolls.
Specialist
HP Range: 30-60 | MP Range: 30-60 | SP Range: 30-60
Role Perk:
A Specialist gains +2 Damage Reduction from all sources, +2 AC, +2 to hit, and deals 5 extra damage on all attacks and abilities. In addition, they gain +5 extra RPP on creation.
