The Bard relies on Music to relay their magical energy. They are able to sustain buffs on their allies by sustaining songs, similar to how Dancers sustain Dances to de-buff their targets.
Bard (Job) - Bards are completely immune to the 'Silence' status effect, as their voices and instruments can not be stifled.
+25 HP, +60 MP, +20 SP.
Bardsongs - A bard can sustain a song as they perform other actions. In order to do so they must have an instrument occupying one hand, and must use their bonus action each turn to start a song and to sustain it each turn. Songs effect friendly targets within 3 tiles of the bard. Songs cannot be played while underwater. Songs all have an initial MP cost and require a different amount to sustain depending on the rank of the song.
Projection Training (T1) - This individual has learned to project their range allowing songs to effect a larger radius. Songs now affect friendly targets within 4 tiles of the bard.
Projection Training (T2) - This individual has learned to project their range allowing songs to effect a larger radius. Songs now affect friendly targets within 5 tiles of the bard.
Projection Training (T3) - This individual has learned to project their range allowing songs to effect a larger radius. Songs now affect friendly targets within 6 tiles of the bard.
Vocalist (T2) - This individual has opted to use their voice as an instrument. This frees up their hand, but makes them unable to speak without stopping the song and losing its effects.
Overture(T2) - The first song used during an encounter can be started at half cost.
Encore (T3) - If a song has been sustained for at least 3 turns the bard can switch to another song for half the startup price.
Harmonic Haste (T3) - This individual has learned to play songs with as little movement as possible. Sustaining a song no longer takes a bonus action, however a bonus action is still required to start up a song.
Muse's Blessing (T4) - This individual gains a shield around their being when they are performing a song. As long as a Song is being sustained, the Bard gains the 'Shell' status effect at no additional cost.
Master of Medley (T5) - This individual has learned how to mix songs together. They are able to apply the effects of two songs at once.
